Jarris Brown: St. Louis Homicide No. 85; Teen Shot in Head


St. Louis recorded its third homicide of the day Monday when sixteen-year-old Jarris Brown was pronounced dead last night at an area hospital.

According to police, Brown, of the 5900 block of Schulte, was shot around 7:30 p.m. in the 4100 block of Pleasant (above) just east of Fairgrounds Park. A 25-year-old suspect was arrested at the hospital where Brown was taken following the shooting. Police say they will release the man's name if/when the Circuit Attorney's office issues warrants.
