A 69-year-old woman in Crestwood was beaten at gunpoint and robbed yesterday inside her home in the 9700 block of Big Bend
According to reports, the woman had just returned home from feeding a neighbor's cat around 1:15 p.m. when she was confronted by a man inquiring about doing household chores. The man then produced a gun and ordered the woman inside her house. That's where the suspect -- described as a white male in his 40s -- ransacked the home and beat the lady. She sustained a broken ankle in the melee.
The attacker, meanwhile, has earned the ire of the victim's ex-husband, Paul Hediger, who tells KTVI
: "When people do stuff like that, I'm very angry. I'd like to get ahold
of this person and let me tell you something, I'm 71 years old and I
will put his lights out."
