Daniel Brennan: St. Charles Homicide No. 1; Shot in Vehicle in Likely Robbery

The Major Case Squad continues today to investigate the St. Charles' first homicide of the year.

Police found Daniel Brennan, 23, in his PT Cruiser around 11 p.m. Tuesday night at the intersection of Cave Springs and Veterans Memorial Parkway. The Wentzville resident had been shot in the back and slipped in and out of consciousness before he died.

According to KMOV, police believe he was the victim of the a robbery attempt and are close to  identifying a subject.
