The Wash. U. paper Student Life reports that the suspect -- described as a dark complected black male, 5'-4" to 5'-5" in height, wearing a hoodie, dark slacks and tennis shoes -- allegedly sneaked up behind the woman.

After sexually assaulting and robbing her, the man ran off and the victim raced home to call police. She was treated at a local hospital and is expected to be released today.

St. Louis police are investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at (314)-231-1212.
