Yasmin Rodriguez. Her two-year-old son is still missing.
disappeared from University City last month after a disagreement with the father of her infant son.
Today Rodriguez's whereabouts are no longer a mystery with St. Louis police this afternoon identifying the 24-year-old as the corpse fished out of the Mississippi River back on April 9.
According to University City police, Rodriguez got into an argument March 28 with Gebar Byrd
in the home they shared in the 6600 block of Crest in University City.
Rodriguez left the home sometime during the dispute, taking with her their toddler son, Gebar Byrd Jr
. The boy remains missing.
Gebar Byrd Jr. would have turned 2 on April 13.
University City police report that Byrd Sr. is cooperating with authorities in their investigation.
As of right now police are treating Rodriguez's discovery as a "suspicious
report that no obvious signs of trauma were discovered on her body --
although that could change once the cause and time of death is

that Rodriguez originally hailed from Mexico. Her son is listed as black/Hispanic male with brown eyes and weighing 26 pounds.

Rodriguez's body was pulled from the river near Mullanphy Street north of downtown
