St. Louis County Cops Get Tasers, Shoot Each Other, Laugh Hysterically

The St. Louis County Police Department recently purchased a cache of 312 new Tasers through federal stimulus funds.

The new munitions add to the 275 Tasers currently in use by the department. In a press release today, Chief Timothy Fitch credited the stun guns with reducing injuries to both suspects and police officers and noted that the police will receive special training on learning how to use the weapons.

According to the following fine, fine photo in today's Post-Dispatch, that training evidently involves officers shooting each other while their colleagues look on and laugh.
Anyone else smells bacon frying?
