Ass Clown of the Week, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Edition

This week was fraught with accusations and threats over the passage of federal health-care reform that could have provided us dozens of potential Ass Clown candidates.

Instead, let's tone down the political rhetoric for a moment to concentrate on some non-partisan scoundrels whose acts of stupidity, depravity and/or criminality captured headlines this week. Vote for your favorite after the jump.

1. Tessa Vanvlerah: The Ballwin woman accused this week of arranging for a California man to have sex with her 13-month-old daughter.

2. Sheldon Beckham: The alleged burglar who supposedly led police on a chase that claimed the life of rookie officer David Haynes.

3. Stanton Holliday: The Alton man who went looking for his computer flash drive at a local library and then denied owning the item when librarians discovered the device was laden with images of child pornography.
