A passenger in that vehicle then exited into the street and shot Clark several times in the shoulder and back. Clark, of the 4400 of Garfield, was able to drive a few hundred feet before crashing his auto into a fire hydrant and passing car. The occupant in the other vehicle was unhurt.

Clark was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
