Bryan Neal, St. Louis Homicide No. 8; Shot During Argument in North City Home

St. Louis police are searching for a 24-year-old suspect they believe shot and killed Bryan D. Neal, 23, during an argument Monday night.

The crime occurred in a second-floor bedroom in the 3900 block of Natural Bridge Road around 11:56 p.m. January 11.

This morning police provided the following account of the murder:
The victim and other friends were in a second floor bedroom when the suspect, who was known to the victim, and two other people entered the residence. The suspect got into an argument with the victim and announced a robbery. The suspect then shot the victim in the chest and the suspects fled from the residence. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. A suspect has been identified and police are attempting to locate him. The investigation is ongoing.
