The Big Bloody: Man Shot Dead at East Side Strip Club


Authorities in Brooklyn, Illinois, are investigating the killing this morning of 22-year-old Dion E. Hardin. 

The Brooklyn resident was shot around 2:21 a.m. as he exited Club Peek-A-Boo, located at 118 S. Third Street in his hometown.

The shooting is at least the third episode of gunplay occurring near or stemming from a Brooklyn strip club in the past two months.

In early August a man was was killed and a female passenger was injured when unknown assailants fired at their vehicle moments after leaving the Pink Slip strip club in Brooklyn. 

On August 23 -- at around 3:30 a.m. -- a St. Louis man was shot inside the Pink Slip. He survived his injuries. 

Law officials are asking anyone with information regarding today's homicide to call the Brooklyn Police Department at 874-8204 or Illinois State Police at 346-3769. Anonymous calls may be made to St. Louis Regional CrimeStoppers toll free at 866-371-8477.
