Remember last month when a fan at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia shined a laser pointer into the eyes of Cardinals batters?

Our blog post on the incident generated lots of feedback from Phillies fans, most all of whom dismissed the issue. (One example: "why would WE need to distract the opponent? WE are the 2008 WORLD F-IN CHAMPIONS...")

But then, that blog post was not our first or last confrontation with the highly opinionated (and wholly unapologetic) readers of the Phillies fan site, thefightins.com.

We gotta hand it to the website's staff, though. They seem to have a sense of humor and a shrewd sense of business savvy. Case in point, we recently stumbled across this shirt for sale on a site affiliated with the thefightins.com.

Too bad the real laser pointer wasn't wearing the T-shirt back on July 25 when MLB umpires stopped the game for ten minutes to search the stands for the culprit -- who, btw, they never discovered.
