Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and Now ... Billy Mays?

Apparently death comes in fours.

Waking up this morning to news that Billy Mays -- the ubiquitous product pitchman who talked in ALL CAPS and wore a magnifcent Just-for-Men beard -- has died.

Mays was found dead in his Tampa, Florida, home on Sunday. The day before he'd been involved in a rough plane landing at the Tampa airport in which a piece of luggage fell from the overhead bin and hit him on the head. Speculation is that the 50-year-old Mays may have suffered a brain injury from the luggage.

Word is that he'd just inked a deal to pitch Taco Bell, though I'll always remember Mays for his Oxi Clean commercials and his tireless work ethic as witnessed below.
