Twitter Co-Founder Visiting His Hometown of St. Louis This Weekend; Tweeting From Soulard, Botanical Garden

  • Jack Dorsey
Jack Dorsey, the creater, co-founder and chairman of Twitter, is in town this weekend for a wedding.

His Twitter handle is simply, jack, and he boasts a mere 803,720 followers on the social media he invented.

So, what has Dorsey been up to during his time in St. Louis?

Well, we know that his brother picked him up from the airport last night and today Dorsey went to the Botanical Garden with his mom and nieces.

Later it looks like he was having tea in Soulard.

And just moments ago, the big thinker (you can tell that from his pic) asked this question: St. Louis was once a major infrastructure hub. Can it be again?

Update 3:56 p.m.

Ha! And right after we posted this, we see that Mayor Francis Slay has responded to Dorsey and defended his fair city: "We're still in the center of the country at the nexus of rail/road/river. Yes."

Slay has also asked Dorsey to stop by the mayor's office, to which Dorsey replies:
"I'd love to but I have a wedding to attend!"
