Sunday Night Shooting Spree Begets Monday Night Shooting Spree in a "Dangerous City"

When I retraced a wild night in St. Louis that left four people shot in the span of five hours this past Sunday, I didn't think I'd follow with a similar story the very same week.

Guess I forgot that we're living in one of America's Most Dangerous Cities. Monday night in St. Louis was just as violent. Three separate shootings over the course of just two hours Monday night left one person dead and two injured.

Shooting #1: 9:05 p.m. A 19-year-old at a Phillips gas station at 4347 South Broadway. Approached by thee men and shot in arm and abdomen.

Shooting #2: 10:45 p.m. A gunman knocked on the door of a home in the 4500 block of Natural Bridge Avenue. When Kenneth Isbell, 25, answered the door, he was shot twice in the head and died on the scene.

Shooting #3: A 19-year-old returning to his home in the 4100 block of Fairview Avenue was shot in the thigh by a gunman shortly after getting out of his car.
