Chicago police made a gruesome discovery outside Wrigley Field this morning,
finding a severed goat head on the pavement near the historic ballpark.
The animal's remains were found about twelve hours before the Cubs'
home opener scheduled for 1:20 p.m. this afternoon.
Police are treating the incident as a prank, and as the Associated Press
reports,
goat heads are available at several ethnic butcher shops in Chicago.
No word yet on the identity of the animal, though one might expect that its name is
Billy Goat.
