Headline of the Day: Illinois Man Hits Courthouse, Gets DUI

The Associate Press reports that 28-year-old Brandon Mandrell was under the influence when his SUV slammed into the courthouse Tuesday in Benton, Illinois (90 miles southeast of St. Louis).

Mandrell is charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, not wearing a seat belt, and illegally transporting alcohol. The force of the crash shot mud, debris and concrete shooting through the circuit clerk's window.

Good luck getting a sympathetic judge for that one, Brandon.
