That's the rumor some media are reporting today.

The speculation comes just four days after Anderson's Missouri Tigers toppled Calipari's Memphis Tigers in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA tourney. (University of Connecticut knocked Mizzou out of the tournament on Saturday.)

According to ESPN, Calipari is likely to leave Memphis to take the head coaching job at the University of Kentucky, where Billy Gillispie was fired last week. A Memphis television station, meanwhile, reports that the University of Memphis has received permission to interview Anderson should Calipari leave the school.

Calipari has been at Memphis for nine years. Anderson arrived at Mizzou three seasons ago and took the team this year to the Elite 8.
