"Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow," Blago Headlines of the Day

Newspaper Web site Newseum.org has compiled its top ten front pages and headlines from the biggest story of the day Thursday (no, not that shoe sculpture in Iraq), the ouster of bizarre former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich.

The winner for best headline, according to the Web site that does its best to collect the newspapers from all over the world, goes to the Southtown Star, in Tinley Park, Illinois. Unsurprisingly, most of the top headlines came from Illinois papers, where editors had been watching Blagojevich play by his own rules as govenor for six years. And to be fair, most of these headlines were probably written weeks ago.

After the jump is the top ten list.
