RFT Staff Writer Kristen Hinman wrote about a St. Louis-based soccer team comprised of homeless men in this week's paper.
Coached by David Flomo, the Liberian-born, former child solider now earning his second master's degree at Saint Louis University, the team will head to the Homeless USA Cup in Washington, D.C. later this summer. The winner of that tournament goes to the Homeless World Cup, held December 1-7, 2008 in Melbourne, Australia.
After the jump is a video interview with coach Flomo and one of his players, along with footage of one of the team's recent practice sessions.
