There they are at the White House, our improbable 2006 World Series champs, getting feted by President Bush, who's taking a break from his usual decider duties.

Dubya compares himself to World Series MVP shortstop David Eckstein, saying, "They said he can't hit. They said he can't throw. Listen, David. I've made a career out of people underestimating me."
