You Could Perform the National Anthem at a St. Louis Blues Game

If you've ever dreamed of performing on American Idol or The Voice, the St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Symphony Orchestra need you.

The pair announced today that they're partnering to find a local singer or musician to perform the national anthem before a Blues home game in the 2017 to 2018 season. The lucky winner will be chosen after two rounds of auditions, which will be judged by two representatives from the St. Louis Symphony and Blues anthem singer Charles Glenn.

Soloists, vocal performing groups, instrumentalists and small instrumental groups are all welcome to audition, and there are no age restrictions to try out.

Think you have what it takes? Interested candidates should submit an online entry prior to August 11 at midnight. Those chosen as finalists will be asked to attend an in-person audition at Powell Hall (718 N. Grand Blvd., 314-534-1700) to perform in front of the judges.

The game at which the winner will perform has yet to be announced. In the meantime, you can apply for your shot at Scottrade Center stardom at
