Hot off the release of April's Borrowed or Sold EP, itself right on the heels of September's One Way Ticket LP, Miss Molly Simms is debuting a new music video exclusively through RFT Music this week.

The video is for the title track of Simms' LP and was filmed by Brandon Sloan of Dancing Shoes Productions, who has shot video for Prince Ea, Al Holliday, Cara Louise and more. Scenes were shot on back roads in Marquand, Missouri, and at Simms' home, as well as a few beloved Cherokee Street watering holes.

"The video took us several separate days of shooting to complete," Simms says. "We shot one day in Marquand, one day at Venice [Cafe], getting more car shots and leaving the bar scenes, another night at Venice for open mic scenes, one night at San Loo and at my house, getting those scenes, and one day at the transportation museum.

"The volunteers at the transportation museum were super friendly and had keys to private trains that we got to climb aboard and see," she adds.

The video finds Simms fleeing from would-be suitors at the bar, stealing a car from a Good Samaritan and standing up a long-time love — but really, he should have known from the start, as she sings, that she would buy a one-way ticket.
