It was a busy weekend for RFT photographers, who were out late (Space Cats on Mushrooms 2, The Full Hookup at Handlebar), marking the ninth anniversary of Apop Records (Apop Records 9th Anniversary at Plush) and documenting the sights of Cherokee Street during Saturday's Cinco de Mayo celebration (Cinco de Mayo on Cherokee).

From Space Cats on Mushrooms 2, at the Atomic Cowboy and the Demo. The party was a kickoff event in honor of Detroit's Movement electronic music festival. Detroit DJs Dan Bain and Sassmouth headlined the party with local support from DJs Quasar Camp, Don Tinsley, Slante, Scotty Mac, Tvor, Jetset, Alexis and Eau My provided the music.
