Well, here we are: two months, a couple hundred nominations, an expert panel and over 1,600 votes away from the beginning of our series on the best music photographers in St. Louis. Along the way, we've discovered some great talent out there, both among our finalists and among those who didn't quite make the cut. And we've had a chance to get to know some of the folks capturing the live music in this city. But enough with the preamble. We have a winner:

Todd Owyoung: Best Music Photographer in St. Louis -Five of his best photos and a Q&A -His website, ishootshows.com

We'd also like to congratulate our runner up, Nate Burrell and all of the finalists, who are of a truly excellent caliber. We also had a number of photographers make noise as write-in candidates in our poll. Notable among them is Sam Africano, Angie Knost, Stephen Houldsworth, Christian Mayberry, Kevin Zimarik and Kate McDaniel.
