Among Washington Avenue's roomy, full-contact bars, Rue 13 was unique. Not least because of its ties to the punk community, which it welcomed every week with a rowdy night of in-house music. It also hosted shows ranging from hardcore to electronica, in addition to the usual weekend activities of the neighborhood. But that's all come to an end -- Rue 13 closed its doors for good last Saturday.
