Slash: Undeniably fantastic guitar player, for sure. But talent alone does not let a guitar player tour the country, decade after decade, putting hundreds or thousands of people in a venue. He doesn't sing (obviously) -- last night at the Pageant his placeholder band was Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. Yet somehow he's carved himself a handsome career as a celebrity shredder, and people pay good money to travel to the outskirts of St. Louis for his riffs and his top hat. And good on him for maintaining the excitement. Photographer Todd Owyoung was there to capture the action.
