Delta Spirit and JEFF the Brotherhood will make a stop in mid-November at the Pageant. The official date is November 15, tickets are $17.50 in advance or $20 day of show and they go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m.

Both of these bands have made recent appearances in St. Louis. Delta Spirit headlined a packed show at the Old Rock House in March and JEFF the Brotherhood was at Off Broadway just last week with Sleepy Kitty and Juiceboxx.

It's been the natural order of things around here -- bands max out shows at places like ORH and get themselves into the Pageant the next time through. The introduction of Plush, which has a capacity somewhere in between the smaller clubs and the Pageant with its balcony closed (as it almost certainly will be for this one), seemed like it might create an intermediate step. Maybe it still will; maybe Delta Spirit is just growing too quickly for that anyway.

Regardless, this will be a fun one. Delta Spirit is responsible for one of 2012's most front-to-back enjoyable records and JEFF the Brotherhood is a whirlwind live.
