Matisyahu, the newly clean-shaven Hasidic rapper/singer, will be appearing on August 16 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in support of Sublime with Rome. Exciting, yes, but not compared to his just-announced free in-store at Vintage Vinyl (6610 Delmar Blvd). This follows recent appearances by big names like Tenacious D and the Flaming Lips, as well as the venerable record store's run of smaller club-circuit bands. Good stuff.

To learn more about the performance, call Vintage Vinyl at (314) 721-4096 or visit the official event page. He'll also be signing copies of his new record, Spark Seeker if you buy them at the store.
