Darrell Scott is more well known for his associations. He's written songs for country superstars ranging from Faith Hill to the Dixie Chicks to Brad Paisley and has performed alongside Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris and is a member of Robert Plant's Band of Joy.
He brings his own headlining tour to the Old Rock House (1200 S. 7th Street, 314-588-0505). The show's on Friday, February 17th and is part of the venue's Listening Room series. Reserved seats cost $25 and general admission is $15.
Scott's 2010 album A Crooked Road has achieved a steady life of acclaim, including a 2011 Independent Music Award for Best Country Album.
