If you've found your way here, we're guessing you don't need to be told. But just in case: Chickenfoot is Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani and Chad Smith. That makes for two parts Van Halen, one part Red Hot Chili Peppers and one part first-ballot hall-of-fame guitarist for hire. The band is playing the sort of crunchy, middleweight rock and roll you would hope that lineup would produce; its second album came out at the end of September.
Chickenfoot has sold its show tomorrow night at the Pageant, but we've got a couple pairs of tickets we'd like to give you. To win: That new album we mentioned is called Chickenfoot II and it follows the band's debut, Chickenfoot. It's a fine name, but we think you can do better. To win the tickets, propose a different name for the new album. We'll pick a winner this afternoon.
