Peter Wolf Crier returns to St. Louis on Monday, playing at Off Broadway. The group played at the Billiken Club back in February; Roy Kasten, in his preview, wrote, "The duo forges its doo-wop harmonies, scrappy acoustic-guitar rhythms and death-march drums into small but sure hooks; it snags the sounds of the past and makes them shiver and shake in strangely expressive ways."
Since that show, the duo has released its second record on Jagjaguwar, Garden Of Arms, so even if you went earlier this year, this is sure to be a new experience. For a taste of the new stuff, watch the video for "Settling It Off" below.
