St. Vincent is the performing moniker of Annie Clark, who played with the Polyphonic Spree and Sufjan Stevens before setting out on her own weird, startling and constantly ass-kicking solo career. Strange Mercy is her third album with the project, and it is every bit as good as its two predecessors. Watch the video for catchy-as-shit lead single "Cruel" below.
