The STL Loud series returns with its third volume -- all released in 2011. We tip our hats to the folks at R&R Music Labs for their consistency.
The series, for the unfamiliar, brings St. Louis bands to the R&R Studio to record an unreleased track for a compilation. You can read Christian Schaeffer's reviews of the first two volumes here and here; they have featured everyone from live band hip-hop group Illphonics to rock band the Orbz to the dazed sound of Throw Pillows.
Volume Three gets its official welcome party on November 11, 2011 at Off Broadway -- we'll be announcing the bands featured in a couple of posts in the next week or so. Check out R&R's video introduction to this compilation below to see the first band that will appear on the release.
