Eric Hall has a way with machines. His electronic improvisations can be strangely transporting and deeply moving. They are, by their nature, a certain view of a certain moment, making each one an oblique account of a particular crowd and/or space. He frequently offers his sets for online consumption, but never like this: Every recording he made between 2005 and 2010 is now available online as one package. For a suggested price of $22.50, you get 67 tracks totaling 3.2 GB and 22 and a half hours of music. Listen to a set recorded at Dunway Books in 2005 below.
