The unlikeliest ladies' man in contemporary music comes to the Pageant on October 15th. Brett Dennen, who is fresh of the release of his fourth album, Loverboy, has found success by sounding like a straight-faced soft pop star without looking or acting like one. Though he has toured with acts like Jason Mraz and John Mayer, he's always been just weird enough to avoid the occasionally nap-inducing vanilla of some of those peers.
Tickets for the Pageant show go on sale July 2th at 5 p.m. -- they're $20. For one week, if you buy three you get the fourth free.
As is commonly the case with crooners of Dennen's type, many people's knowledge of his music comes from TV show soundtrack appearances, though he's spent an unusual amount of time on the festival circuit as well.
