Pretty Little Empire at the Sheldon Ballroom: Win Tickets, T-Shirts and Vinyl [Update with Winners]

  • The new PLE t-shirt logo! It comes in brown as well.

This Friday, July 8th, the Sheldon Ballroom hosts a fantastic local lineup: Cassie Morgan & the Lonely Pine, Kentucky Knife Fight and Pretty Little Empire -- recent RFT Music Award winners and damn fine bands all.

Pretty Little Empire -- which will headline the show -- has put together a couple prize packages for us to give you. They include: Two tickets to Friday's show, a copy of the band's debut album, Sweet Sweet Hands on vinyl, and a t-shirt featuring a brand-new design by Annie Martineau. Contest rules below.

Update, 7/7/11: Congratulations, Nicky and Lando! Details for collecting your winnings have been sent to your email. Thanks to everyone who commented -- a testament to an especially fervent fan base. See you at the show!

This band is one of the most respected live acts in St. Louis, and for good reason: Each show incites sing-alongs and visible relief on the faces in the audience, and on good nights the experience is something like rapturous. To win: tell us, in the comments below, what your favorite PLE show was and, briefly, why. If you're struggling to nail something down, we will also accept favorite song.

A few notes:

-Winners will be selected subjectively, based on which submissions we like the best. Please include a way we can contact you in your comment.

-The contest will close at 5 p.m. Thursday (also known as tomorrow).

-You must go to the show on Friday to collect your prize, obviously.
