Beirut and the Smith Westerns Lead This Week's New Show Announcements

  • Beirut.

A spate of new concerts for your future listening pleasure: Beirut is coming to the Pageant on October 9, and the band's newest, The Rip Tide, is out on August 30. Ramshackle garage rockers the Smith Westerns are back at the Firebird in September. Everyone knows the best hardcore comes from New York City (NYHC!), and the punks in Agnostic Front all look pretty good a quarter century later -- see them at Fubar November 12.
