Even with the instant gratification and knowledge gained with finding out about shows through using the Internet and social media, there is still something about the art of the show fliers that cannot be replaced. This week, we traipsed up Delmar Boulevard and down Cherokee Street to bring you this week's shows in fliers hanging on the walls, counters and windows of Apop Records, Cranky Yellow, Vintage Vinyl, Sunshine Daydream, Snarf's, Blueberry Hill's Duck Room and Iron Age Studios.
Energetically spastic duo Matt and Kim come to the Pageant next Sunday, and the Jump Starts have their album release show this Saturday at the Warehouse during the evening stretch of S.L.U.M. Fest over at the Atomic Cowboy, running from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. The Old Rock House brings singer Katie Herzig to St. Louis this Saturday as well.
