Matthew Morrison Cancels St. Louis Show to Join NKOTBSB Tour: Of Course He Does

Wet-eyed hair gel model/TV singer-songwriter Matthew Morrison has canceled his scheduled June 19th show at the Fox Theatre. Why? Because he was asked to join the New Kids On The Block/Backstreet Boys reunion tour, naturally. Incidentally, they're abbreviating that NKOTBSB, which we can only assume is meant to be portmanteau'd into New Kids On the Black Street Boys.

Again, this makes sense. Morrison is nothing without boy bands, which is maybe a little creepy since he is one dude with a guitar, and he is not a boy (manboy band?). What Morrison doesn't owe to the '90s he owes to Glee, about which the less is said the better.

Obviously we aren't too broken up about this development, but we totally understand if you are. Tickets are refundable at the point of purchase. If you would still like to see Mr. Schuester, you can do that exactly one month later on July 19th, when the NKOTBSB tour comes to the Scottrade Center.
