Kate Middleton and Prince William are getting married in a matter of hours (have you heard about this at all?). You can watch the Royal Wedding via webcam, but let's be honest: Weddings are boring when you're actually there. So we'll take a pass on grainy video feeds. However, we thought we'd bring this whole deal a little closer to home by asking sixteen St. Louis wedding bands to imagine themselves in England, playing the gig of a lifetime. The five questions they were responding to: -What five songs would you have to play? -Would you take requests? Do you have a general policy on this, and if you would do it differently for this wedding, why? -If they left it up to you, what would you play for the couple's first dance? -If you were told you absolutely had to get Queen Elizabeth II on the dance floor, what song would you play? -Which guest would you personally most want to sweep off his/her feet for a night of romance?

Note: If you read something you like and think one of these bands would be a good fit for your wedding, feel free to contact the bands at the address or site provided

If they left it up to you, what you play for the couple's first dance? "Soul Bossa Nova" by Quincy Jones (Austin Powers theme)

If you were told you absolutely had to get Queen Elizabeth II on the dance floor, what song would you play? "You Sexy Thing" by Hot Chocolate

What five songs would you have to play? "Come Together" by The Beatles "The Way You Make Me Feel" by Michael Jackson "The Time (Dirty Bit)" by The Black Eyed Peas "F*ck You" by Cee-Lo Green "Purple Rain" by Prince.

Would you take requests? Do you have a general policy on this, and if you would do it differently for this wedding, why? Usually we don't take requests. And since it's a royal wedding, we'd want to keep the vibe classy. But if the Queen asked us to play......."Crazy Bitch" by Buckcherry then I don't think we would be able to refuse.

If they left it up to you, what you play for the couple's first dance? "A Song For You" by Donnie Hathaway.

If you were told you absolutely had to get Queen Elizabeth II on the dance floor, what song would you play? "Tip Drill" by Nelly

Which guest would you personally most want to sweep off his/her feet for a night of romance? Since Kate will be married by then, I'd settle for her sister Pippa.

Would you take requests? Do you have a general policy on this, and if you would do it differently for this wedding, why? Sh-Boom's general song request policy is that we take requests for songs from 1954 to 1974. However, we would consider suspending our policy for Royalty.

If they left it up to you, what you play for the couple's first dance? It would have to be something by Queen

If you were told you absolutely had to get Queen Elizabeth II on the dance floor, what song would you play? "Play that Funky Music"

Which guest would you personally most want to sweep off his/her feet for a night of romance? Is Tina Turner attending?

What five songs would you have to play? "S&M" by Rihanna. Special dedication to Prince Charles and Camilla Parker "Listen to the Music" by the Doobie Brothers. This would serve as a gentle reminder to the general lack of rhythm that is sure to be displayed on the dance floor. "Roses" by Outkast. Royalty always thinks that their "shit don't stink" and we won't miss such an opportunity tell let them know it does. "Aja" by Steely Dan. HA!! The pleasure of watching the "WTF" look on their faces as they attempt to keep up with the meter changes here will be priceless. "Humpty Dance" by Digital Underground. Cause it ain't a Groovethang party till we play that one!

Would you take requests? Do you have a general policy on this, and if you would do it differently for this wedding, why? We will play ANYTHING as long as its on our song list. And if they want something else we would only charge the Royal Family 10 grand per tune.

If they left it up to you, what you play for the couple's first dance? "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green is always a classic.

If you were told you absolutely had to get Queen Elizabeth II on the dance floor, what song would you play? "Pussy Control" by Prince is guaranteed to move the stiffest of asses!

Which guest would you personally most want to sweep off his/her feet for a night of romance? Princess Fadwa bint Khalid bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman of Saudi Arabia. I haven't actually seen and don't know much about her, just the same a brothers gotta do what I gotta do to get the hook up on some cheaper gas prices!

We'll see you on the dance floor!

What five songs would you have to play? The music theme for the Royal Wedding Celebration is disco and 80's music. My top 5 dance song choices would be:

"Hungry Like a Wolf" by Duran, Duran. It's one of Prince William's favorite bands from the 80's "Let's Dance" by David Bowie, a fellow Brit. Another great dance tune from the 80's "This Will Be An Everlasting Love" by Natalie Cole. One of my favorite songs from the 70's; a great songs to dance to and a great song for celebrating love "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Queen. Another great song from the 80's. My band just recently learned this and it's great fun. "Stayin' Alive" by the Beegees. Always fun and this song always gets everybody on the dance floor.

Would you take requests? Do you have a general policy on this, and if you would do it differently for this wedding, why? I generally consult the client as to whether or not they would like us to take requests. In addition to this question, I ask if there are any songs they "do not" want us to play.

If they left it up to you, what you play for the couple's first dance? "Have You Ever Been In Love" - Celine Dion. One of my favorite love songs.

If you were told you absolutely had to get Queen Elizabeth II on the dance floor, what song would you play? "Dancing Queen." Wouldn't that be a sight to behold?

Which guest would you personally most want to sweep off his/her feet for a night of romance? If I could sweep any male member of the Royal family off their feet, I think I would even impress myself.

What five songs would you have to play? Since we do a variety, we'd want to cover a few genres of music: "What A Wonderful World" "I Will Survive" "Shake Your Booty" "Don't Stop Believin'" "Raise Your Glass"

Would you take requests? Do you have a general policy on this, and if you would do it differently for this wedding, why? Basic policy is we tell all couples we'll gladly learn a few new songs for their 'special dances' (first dance, father/daughter, etc..) as long as we have several weeks advance notice.

If they left it up to you, what you play for the couple's first dance? "At Last"

If you were told you absolutely had to get Queen Elizabeth II on the dance floor, what song would you play? "Respect" (who doesn't dance to Aretha?)

What five songs would you have to play? "September" "Beat It" "Kiss" "Born To Run" "I Gotta Feeling"

Would you take requests? Do you have a general policy on this, and if you would do it differently for this wedding, why? Definitely! We typically check with the client to see if they want us to take requests so if they (or their planning staff) didn't have a problem then we would certainly play requests. We have a huge variety so it would be fun to see what songs they wanted to hear.

If they left it up to you, what you play for the couple's first dance? "Someday, My Prince Will Come"

If you were told you absolutely had to get Queen Elizabeth II on the dance floor, what song would you play? "Unforgettable" (If that doesn't work then of course it would have to be "Brick House")

What five songs would you have to play? I'd have to play a variety of classics. This is so I can touch base everyone at the event. And I mean PLAY the songs not just clinically try to sound like the records but let you know it's alive and we're laying it down! We would smoke each and every tune.

"My Girl" (Do you Really listen to the bass and guitar licks in this solid tune?) "What a Wonderful World" (You can't deny the sheer beauty of melody and lyrics) "In The Mood" (Swing it!) "Shake Your Body Down" (Feet tappin', head bobbin") "Play That Funky Music" (Rump shakin") (I got a feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night!) (Man, I was just getting warmed up.)

Would you take requests? Do you have a general policy on this, and if you would do it differently for this wedding, why? Yes, no problem it's your night and we want it special and tailored just for you! We do this for everyone! Our reputation really depends on it!

If they left it up to you, what you play for the couple's first dance? "The Way You Look Tonight"

If you were told you absolutely had to get Queen Elizabeth II on the dance floor, what song would you play? I would have to see how good she was groovin'. I'd like to see her get down and dirty but that may be too open for the Queen and she has to keep a stiff upper lip. After all she IS the Queen! So I'd call her out on " What a Wonderful World".

Which guest would you personally most want to sweep off his/her feet for a night of romance? None, I'm sorry but I'm happily married and have been for 32 years. I'm living the dream!

However, if they requested a cool, hip, jazzy version of "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life," we would not disappoint.

Which guest would you personally most want to sweep off his/her feet for a night of romance? Princess Elizabeth of Yugoslavia, because I've been trying to get parts for my 1988 Yugo for years and I think she can help. Also for a princess of a country that no longer exists? Totally HOT.
