Lightning Bolt Is Coming to St. Louis

The Luminary Center for the Arts has very quietly booked some killer shows this spring -- first, Destroyer and the War on Drugs and, earlier this week, electro-doom project Cold Cave. And now comes word that the two-man wrecking crew Lightning Bolt is playing at the venue on Saturday, April 23. Let's try to describe the Providence, Rhode Island, band: Its music is like a repeated punch to the head from a sledgehammer, as you're in the midst of a magnitude 7.0 earthquake. Tickets are $10 and are on sale now. You will want to buy early.
