After a three-year stint, Mangia Italiano's Monday night karaoke extravaganza (known colloquially as "Mangioke") is bidding adieu after tonight's session. The night is the stuff of legend; countless denizens of the South-side converged to drink away the pain associated with the start of the week. Why the closure? According to a brief post on Facebook: "Everybody stopped coming." Ah, a familiar excuse. The event is free.
