Tonight at HOME Nightclub, Nelly is celebrating the tenth anniversary of his genre-defining album Country Grammar with -- what else? -- a fancy party. DJ Sno is on the decks. The event is a culmination of a ten-city, VIBE magazine-sponsored tour celebrating Nelly's career. The festivities start at 9 p.m. and we suggest you dress to impress. Tickets are $10 to $20. Last year, we asked Missouri artists about Country Grammar's impact and influence; read that here.

Peter Case of the Plimsouls, who's touring behind a new album, Wig!, is making two appearances in town today: At 5 p.m., he'll be at Euclid Records performing as part of the store's Euclid Sessions series, a set recorded for a future 7-inch record. The event's free. Later at Off Broadway he'll be doing a full set, which no doubt will include solo favorites and Plimsouls hits. Joe Thebeau of Finn's Motel opens. The show's at 8 p.m. and tickets are $18 ($21 if you're under 21). Don't forget to read our Peter Case interview this week, by the way.

And finally, late '80s/early '90s indie/alt-country local act Enormous Richard is reissuing its first recording, (Why It's) Enormous Richard's Almanac, on CD. (Listen to some music here; more info here.) To celebrate, the band is reuniting this weekend: Tonight at 10:30 p.m. at Jacobsmeyers Tavern (2401 Edwardsville Road) in Granite City, Illinois, it's doing a free show. Tomorrow night, July 24, it'll be at the Duck Room with the Lettuceheads and Karate Bikini. Tickets are $5 and the music starts at 8 p.m.
