Memorial Day has come and gone, and it's time to kick off summer. (Just
look out for those scattered thunder storms on Saturday and Sunday.) This weekend brings indie craft fairs, more than a few art exhibition openings, electro nights with visiting DJ's and a yes, the RFT's very own Music Showcase

So without further ado, here are our top ten suggestions for weekend fun that will cost you less than a Hamilton.
Christopher Burch: The Sleep of Reason (Opens Friday)
Friswold writes of the art of Christopher Burch, "Burch strives to
create 'the ectoplasmic echoes existing between
laughter and death,' and his slick portrait of a mass of writhing,
metallic tentacles tipped with leering Mr. Punch faces is the prime
example of his success."
PBR Presents: Glory Daze w/ Nick
Brooklyn-based DJ Nick Catchdubs has
played stages as big as Lollapalooza but this Saturday will be his first
show in St. Louis. Appearing at the Gramophone, he will share the stage

Art Holliday and Live Jazz (Sunday)
Local filmmaker and newsman Art
Holliday will discuss his current project, Johnnie Be Good
documentary about Chuck Berry's pianist Johnnie Johnson. The event will
also feature live music from Jeremiah Johnson with the Sliders and the
Billy Barnett Band. Music starts at 5 at BB's Jazz Blues, and Soups.

.Circus Flora's Ingenioso
(Opens Thursday with shows all weekend)
St. Louis' resident
one-ring circus troupe puts on its version of the story of Don
, featuring a menagerie of animals, clowns, and acrobats. The big
top is located at the intersection of Samuel Shepherd Drive and North
