In the Studio: Power-Trio LOGOS Goes Back for Another Round of Rock

  • Steve Truesdell
Where: Sawhorse Studios
With: Jason McEntire
When: May 2010
What: Additional songs for their forthcoming album
When Due Out: TBA, although two new songs, "Mind's Eye" and "Everyday," are up now on MySpace
Sounds Like: The band self-describes like so: "The LOGOS sound is greatly derived from '60s and '70s progressive rock with a modern indie twist thrown into the mix to update the sound and appeal to both young and older generations. Strong vocal melodies bordered by interesting chord changes, busy bass lines, screeching guitar solos, and thunderous drum breaks make up a familiar sound with fresh new views that can't be found in very many other bands today." This new album is the follow-up to 2008's Beautiful Disguise EP. LOGOS will be a performer at KSHE's "Real Rock River Weekend" on Saturday June 5 and at Fair St. Louis on July 4.

MP3: LOGOS, "Mind's Eye"
