As a co-worker put it: "How fitting -- the return of the air show and the B-52's." Earlier today, Mayor Slay and Joseph F. Imbs, III, the chairman of the Fair Saint Louis Foundation, announced that soul/R&B crooner John Legend and good-time, party-hearty new-wavers the B-52's will be appearing at Fair St. Louis. Legend will headline the Budweiser Main Stage on Saturday, July 3, while the B-52's will headline on Sunday, July 4. The air show -- an attraction absent in recent years -- will also return, with two separate performances on each day. A complete schedule of events is after the jump.

The press release also noted that LIVE on the Levee will return this year; an announcement about that and about further Fair St. Louis acts will be in May.
