Patrick Wessel, who created the old-tyme movie-clips video for Jumbling Towers' "Kanetown City Rips" has returned with another clip for the indie-pop act. "Gilberta" has a slinky (but subtle) R&B groove, which inspired him to splice footage of Beyonce's "Single Ladies" dance with choreographed dance moves of real people hanging out in a playground. The moves were filmed by Drew Belz. Better news: Jumbling Tower's CD release show is May 1 at the Firebird. Its long-awaited album, The Kanetown City Rips, is finally coming out. You can get a further sneak preview of the album with the MP3 "Put Your War Paint On," found at the blog Said the Gramophone.
