Lewis Reed, president of the Saint Louis Board of Aldermen, took to his Twitter account yesterday to announce the opening of a downtown outpost of the Jive and Wail. The popular Maplewood branch of the dueling-piano bar, incidentally, was the RFT's "Best Place to Go Cougar Hunting" in 2009. Set to open in July 2010, the 8,700 square-foot establishment will be at 13th and Washington -- roughly the area below:
