SXSW season in the Lou is all about last-minute shows. How else to explain tonight's early show with Canadians the Wooden Sky, a gig that was booked in the last few weeks? The Toronto indie rockers will be performing at Off Broadway at 7 p.m. Tickets are just $5 if you're over 21, $8 if you're under. Later in the evening at the same venue, perennial Lou faves/"twang bandits" Whitey Morgan and the 78's will be playing with Cleveland garage-rockers the Hot Rails and locals the Red-Headed Strangers and the Dock Ellis Band. Tickets for that are also $5 if you're over 21, $8 if you're under. Below, check out a Wooden Sky video our own Roy Kasten shot at the band's October 2009 show.
