OK Go Playing at the Old Rock House in April

My spies tell me that OK Go will be performing at the Old Rock House on Sunday, April 18. [Edit, 4:15 p.m.: I'm told that Earl Greyhound and the Booze are the openers.] Tickets are $16 in advance, $18 day of show, and it's all-ages (but there's a $2 surcharge for minors). On sale Wednesday, March 3, at 5 p.m. The LA-via-Chicago band's latest album, Of the Blue Colour of the Sky, is quite a departure: It's darker, weirder, at times more funk- and psych-influenced -- in fact, it's quite reminiscent of the Flaming Lips. Go figure. OK Go's always-fun videos aren't embeddable via YouTube -- check this smart, insightful post from Damian Kulash, as this has been quite a bone of contention for the band as of late -- and so the band has turned to Vimeo.
